If it's any consolation, I missed a big Saskatchewan velvet whitetail on the archery opener, the arrow went just over its back...

Thanks, that’s just bowhunting! Had I not had so much fun on this trip I would’ve went home in a rather grumpy mood, but even with things turning out like they did you couldn’t knock the smile off my face with a sand blaster! Good luck in October, be sure and let me know how it turns out
