any of these in your vicinity? https://www.okbison.org/our-ranches

Another option might be cutting horse operations that use bison for working horses...

So basically you can keep it until claimed and if claimed, get paid for your troubles.

Not true, Michigan is a free range state. Fence out as well as in state

I grew up there and I believe it is not free range. Unless that has changed. If it was free range I think the Manistee national forest would be full of cattle. Anyone seeing cattle on the national forest land in michigan lately?

I bet the OK Dnr and the cattlemen won’t let them roam free very long if they are wild or domestic. They will claim disease and live out their buffalo hunter fantasies.

File to take ownership, once yours, fatten them up for sale or harvest, assuming no original owner comes along to pay to get them back. You don’t have to hold them forever, right? Once they are yours, they are yours I’d think, unless and until someone else comes forward.

Keep your receipts though!!

Not sure where Wild will lives but here is an interesting google search of potential sources in SE OK

Ok it's been a few days since wild will has commented on this subject. I'm curious what the status is concerning the bison.
What are you working on WW?
