Ollin Magnetic Digiscoping System

Anyone know what causes this?

Here is the big set of sheds I found way back in 1982. They were laying right next to each other. The chewed off point was there too, 8 inches long with another kicker. For some reason I didn't bother to pick it up to. Still kicking myself for that oversight.DSCN5256.JPG

My dad’s got a whitetail buck shed with a similar concave base. Knows the guy that has the other. Was a totally normal looking 5x5 with huge bladed brow tines. Buck had a good rack again the next year and got shot. To my knowledge he never held velvet late and that it wasn’t goofy in any ways. Local taxidermist said that he thought it was because it was a very warm winter and it held antlers until the new ones started growing underneath and pushed them off. No clue if that’s true.
