I sometimes throw in for a raffle tag. If I win someday and bag a huge animal - I’m sure I’ll just cry myself to sleep when people say it’s gay. Even better - if I were wealthy and could buy an auction permit (which I’d do a lot of if I won the lottery) I’d be equally bummed by haters.

Don’t know anything about Casey Brooks other than he’s possessed with bowhunting elk. I like to think it’s cool that a guy like that hit the jackpot of hunting big elk.

Well, for what it is worth, I still don't believe the "Spider Bull" was a wild free-range bull either. I don't care what you or anyone else wants to believe either, so go nuts.

Here’s an action shot tonight of a disgruntled MT elk hunter who hunted 35 days RIFLE/muzzleloader season this year and saw 2 bulls on public land - fantasizing about archery hunting 2025 and getting an elk 100 inches smaller than the one Casey Brooks killed last week. Glad for the guy.

I never said I hate the guy, just that with those kinds of numbers I'm going to be skeptical until I see proof. If Pope and Young do not require DNA testing for the bull and polygraphs for the hunting party, then they aren't any better than Safari Club International in my opinion.

@Salmonchaser, I know the bull in the photo you posted a couple of years ago in the let’s see them thread was from a neighboring state, but, as the crow flies, I wonder how many miles separated where that bull and the Brooks bull roamed?
