It’s good to see pouching treated a little More seriously. Other than the brief jail term he really got some gut punches.
 
A month in jail spread out over three years seems a bit light to me. He will no doubt treat it as a joke with his friends. Doesn't seem like he was ever to worried about elk season anyway. But at least it is a felony conviction so maybe they will catch him with a firearm sometime in the future and the judge can get more creative.
