Anybody have a 60's musclecar?

They were most definately a screamer. By the By I think it was $2700 from the dealer. I knew a guy who's dad had one in the 70s.

You're probably correct...after thinking about it, I confused the Rambler with the original window sticker which was still in the glove box of that '66 Sport Fury I had...IT was the one which cost $3700.00. Had cruise, air, pwr. windows, automatic in the floor...about as much as you could get on one in those days. Was kind of a champagne beige with a bronze top.

That Scrambler sounds a lot like the AMX from AMC - a shortened Javelin with no back seat and a 390 engine. I had a Javelin, and it was a pretty neat car. I think it had the 340 V-8. My first car,though, was a Mustang with the 289 Cobra engine - 6 Weber 2-barrel carbs for (I think ) 271 HP. My Dad, at the same time, had a 66 Nova SS with the 325 hp version of the 327 V-8, a 4-11 rear end and a Muncie 4-speed.

I also had a 1970 Dodge Power Wagon with a 440 V-8.

Ahhh yes - I would love to have a muscle car again. My V-10 F-350 has to do for now, though.
