I smoke a lot of salmon and steelhead and lately this has been my go to brine. Not too sweet and not too salty.

That looks good. I think the only thing I would change is I would like to put a little black pepper on them to give it that sweet hot kick. I brush maple syrup on salmon when I grill it too, it adds a great caramel glaze.
