Any idea's?

So I take thousands of pictures a month and with my limited knowledge I turn out a couple of good ones every now and again. I happened to be looking at this picture I took a couple weeks ago and when I expanded it I found this spot in it.

I'll throw out a guess and say its a dragonfly.

I'm not positive but I did see a program looking at similar pictures. They called them "rods". Most of the rods that were recreated using photography were small insects closer to lens. They had a lot of technical reasons for it happening but the photos usually showed an elongated "creature" with multiple "appendages". I had never heard of this before but it is something they were able to recreate on the show. Still, it is kind of neat.

Sorta looks like on of them Flying Humpback Whales from a Star Treck movie. Then it could be something weird. John
