If your skates fit well and have some life in them, just buy new profiled step steel blades for them. Binnie will set you up.Thanks for the info. I currently have a set of low end bauers and have often wondered if a nicer set of skates would help things. Learning to stop has been a real challenge. I end up skating in circles a lot lol
I’m not sure I can replace the blades on these onesIf your skates fit well and have some life in them, just buy new profiled step steel blades for them. Binnie will set you up.
The boards are where I need to be very careful around when battling for the puck. I play to have no injuries. That’s what the boards are there for!
I think all brands of skates have replaceable blades. There are several different types of blade holders.I’m not sure I can replace the blades on these ones

I played pond hockey as a kid, started back up with hockey finder in mid 30s with my little brother. Play twice a week. It’s awesomeYou should look into Hockeyfinder.com. It’s a company my buddy started in Minnesota. Leagues for all levels and none of the riff raff of th other leagues… bc as I say “easy guys we all gotta go to work tmrw”
I spent HS- my late 20s playing rugby! Great sport. Still my preferred sport to watch. As a Canadian I was born with skates on but I haven't played competitively in probably 10 years. I do still play in my Rugby league though.
