I am headed to Phoenix for Christmas and my family can only put up with me for a day or two. I was planning on hooking up with FEW for a hunt, but appears he is MIA.

Any suggestions outside of shopping and golf.

BTW, I am not proud, and rich old ladies aren't out of the question.

I should see few tomorrow at the lake. I have a tourny and got an email from his buddy that they were going out.

Miller, I'll take ya bass fishing. We can hit sag/ canyon one day and see if we can get you a 10lber. I have all the shit you just need yourself.

Maybe a yote hunt like few and I talked about. I will try to get ahold of him, in the next day or so.

Duck hunting is open. Archery deer is open, coyotes are always open , geese should be getting good. and I hear we have some pretty good titty bars here in AZ.

We could always have another az hunttalk Dinner, we did this when lb and elkhunter were in town, quite a few people showed up.

What dates are you going to be in town Miller?

Sorry I am a little slow getting back cjcj. I wasn't sure where I was headed until last night. I will be on the east side of Mesa, near Baseline and Elsworth. As for what I like to do, anything that involves hunting or fishing. I am not the greatest fisherman, but don't nest a baitcaster on every cast.

Forest mentioned some bowhunting, but I don't know if I have enough time to do that. Uplands or waterfowl would be a hoot. I am used to grouse, pheasants and that is about it.

I arrive 12/20 and don't leave until 12/29. I am sure I will have some family activities, but after a couple of days they will want me out of the house.

Sounds like fun and I would enjoy meeting some more of the fellas. I really enjoyed hanging out with FEW in Canada so I hope to run into him as well. Fishing sounds like a ball, but I am a neophyte when it come to catching a bass. Hopefully you won't toss me in the reservoir when you see me cast.

I am used to fishing the hard water.

I will try to make a phone call before I take off and I will also have internet capabilities when I get to town.

Looking forward to meeting some more of Moosies cult members.

mtmiller, we had a great time when we went to dinner and met some great folks. If you like BBQ, get a BBQ fix at Waldo's. Bout the best I have had in ages. dan got me hooked on Waldo's.

My vote would be 'yotes.

Or you could get a wrist rocket, 22 pistol, or a bow and and try to bust some rabbits! You won't have any lack of shooting opportunities!

Just head up to the Roosevelt lake chain and have at 'em!

A tour of Sliger Buckhorn's Hot Springs Museum (sp?) is well worth the chump change they charge. (Apache Junction) You'll be impressed!!!
