Anti-wolf group wants to sue the feds

Pssst, cjcj, Ron Gillet is a "bioligist"?

I'm not too worried about all the elk, moose, sheep, goats, and moose being gone by 2010, you?

I'd also be suprised if all the ground nesting birds and "everything else" edible was gone, you?

Funny too, that goofy MTFWP, still giving out moose permits despite all the moose being gone. What were they thinking?

I guess there was ONE moose left that the wolves didnt find in MT, at least not before I found it.

I'll be damned the goat populations near Yellowstone should be about gone by now, according to WitchDr. Ballard. The wolves were released in 94-95, three years later in 1998 I somehow managed to find this goat...in prime Montana wolf country...Call Dr. Ballard, its a miracle! I even saw a couple gophers and 3 grouse (ground nesters) on the same trip! Funny too, when I drew my goat tag, they gave out 2, I think the same area this year had 8 or 10 goat tags...How can that be with all the wolves "decimating" them?

Buzz,

When you die, is Leupold going to build you a trailer like Jack O'Connor? You have got an impressive collection of pictures.... Glad to see a hunting post, with pictures of a hunter, and the quarry...

<BLOCKQUOTE>quote:</font><HR> Jack O’Connor Legacy Tour Will Display Trophies Collected by World-Famous Outdoor Writer BEAVERTON, Ore. — Leupold announces that the Jack O’Connor Legacy Tour, a major display of wild game trophies collected by the world-famous outdoor writer, is ready to roll beginning in January, 2003. The tour is already scheduled to visit sportsmen’s shows in California, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington. “We are proud to help make this outstanding display available for viewing by the general public,” said Mike Slack, Leupold’s marketing communications manager. “Jack O’Connor was considered by many to be America’s foremost gun writer. Seeing the trophies he collected all over the world will be of interest not only to outdoor enthusiasts but will also provide an excellent educational opportunity for young people.” Slack explained that when O’Connor died in 1978 his 65-trophy collection was bequeathed to the University of Idaho, and the trophies were housed there. However, he said, the University wanted to make the collection available to a wider audience. -<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

Hanger, I hope the deer and elk get more nervous and wary from all the wolves and lions after them. Makes it more challenging and fun to hunt them. The problem with elk is they're too easy.

I don't even hunt them anymore.
