Gastro Gnome - Eat Better Wherever

Antelope...Lets See Them!!!

Knife picture is kinda hokey, but I included it anyways. I bought all my groomsmen that knife as a gift and a few of them still send pictures of everything they use it on.

Hunted Fall River County, SD last weekend and did not see many animals and we were on a 2 day schedule. I covered 500 miles in 2 days so not like I wasn't looking!

I gave my 13 year old son the option to punch his first pronghorn tag on a yearling buck and he said let's do it. Later the next day I found the dominant buck in a herd of 47, but still nothing to get excited about. I shot him anyway with not many options. 2 tags punched got them all chopped and dropped in the freezer last night. Fun hunts getting inside 100 yards on both bucks. Populations hurting, need a few good years to get back to the glory days when I archery hunted this place over the counter and there was a new herd every half mile in every direction.

And I will tell ya, a gutted buck stuffed in a pack frame is immensely a much better way to get them back to the truck than dragging them. Not sure i'll ever drag another one more than 100 yards!

I think i am long overdue for a sight like what you have. My Buckhorn sight is tough these days.
It’s a vortex venom 10/10 would recommend a red dot buddy just bought a leupold you can get a clicker for imagine that

Sadly it is. Regs read no zoom so anything that’s a 1x is good to go. I’ve talked to a couple wardens before I bought it. I like how compact mine is the leupold is big
Is a red dot legal in Heritage season
