From WY earlier in the week. Passed up this buck twice early morning as I was wanting to walk an area of BLM which took until about midday. But went back looking for him and thankfully found him on my walk out. Measured over 15.5 inches.

My wife’s buck from this morning in MT. The group this buck was with was walking towards us so we just sat down and let them come. This guy stopped broadside to us at 125 yds. She made a good shot and dropped him in its tracks.

My oldest boy just got his first big game animal in Wyoming! He broke his arm playing football this season so he had to shoot one-armed of a bipod. Made a nice double-lung from 250 yds!!

Wow! I love chasing pronghorn and enjoy this thread. My own, now seem a little smaller after seeing some of yours!

During my muzzleloader Pronghorn hunt I came across this buck. I had already filled my tag and was searching for a doe.



I think he must have been stuck during the archery season prior to my muzzleloader hunt. He had an infection that was oozing down his shoulder, though it didn't really seem to slow him down any.

He was by himself and not really in any hurry to go anywhere, but he was able to run off when I got out of my truck and started walking towards him.

What are your thoughts? Do you think it was a bad archery shot, an injury from another buck, or something else altogether?
