View attachment 187767I’m pretty sure I posted this buck last fall but can’t remember. My wife got it opening day last year. We just got it back from the taxidermist. It really shows how big it is when compared to the 77” buck next to it that I took 13 years ago. I’ve only had the chance to walk up on 2 truly big animals in my life and they’re both hers. . I was pretty proud of her and happy for her.

She killed a giant! What an awesome buck and mount!

I spent all summer updating and shooting a 15 year old bow with sentimental value. By the numbers, 3rd day, 10th stalk, 15th liter of gatorade, 2 arrows, 35 yard shot on a 67 inch buck.

Hunting Pronghorn never gets old. New Mexico rifle hunt from August 23rd. We spotted the buck bedded in some cactus and made about a mile stalk. Got to 250 yards and shot him in his bed.

Another NM pronghorn. The Mrs. got this buck yesterday morning. I suspect the tenderloins will be gone before the end of the weekend.

2021 Nebraska Public Land Archery buck, not a monster but my wife and kids were able to watch the stalk and harvest happen from the truck a mile away which make it’s pretty special to me.

First antelope. Shot this morning on the rifle opener. Chased him with a bow but that didn’t go well. Got some great pointers from folks right here on HT and had an awesome experience. I’ve filled two shorter than ears tags before, but this was my first buck tag. Had a great time out with just the wife and I.



Then, just a couple weeks later, my wife made her first ever big game harvest on a shorter than ears tag in the same unit. She did a great job.
