Great day with Dad, it's always a favorite hunt for me over most anything else. When we can go together and chase Antelope.

Luck was on our side yesterday, he shot his goat and it wasn't hit great. It trotted off a bit, in the midst of that we pursued him and he had dropped his left side. We had 0 idea where but, he had crossed a fence to. Like it was ment to be after he harvested him we went back to the fence where we thought he had crossed about a mile away and found the sheath in 30 seconds. Couldn't believe it, I had a little luck to.

Biggest one I could find this weekend. 341 yards.

Since the new baby came along i haven't hunted at all this year, finally got out for a longish weekend. Shot him with dad's Browning gold medallion to boot, that felt good. Its bigger then it looks, I have not mastered the art of insta fluencing. I'm also basically an ape.

There's been alot of awesome "firsts" hunting w/my wife w/her being a new hunter the last 5 seasons, this one has topped them all to-date. Her first antelope, shot on opening day within the first hour of daylight, a stud of a buck.
