Antelope...Lets See Them!!!

That's a hell of a shot!
Thanks CORN. They both are pretty good with a rifle, far better than myself. With this buck, things just lined up. Little to no wind, a calm grazing animal, and a broad side shot presentation. About the only thing that didn't go well, he was in a location that made getting closer difficult at best. Just glad my son had the experience to make a one shot kill at that range. The buck took like one step and fell over, nice and clean!

Eastern WY. Never saw an antelope water in three days, water standing everywhere. Watched this one bed a mile and half away. Made a big loop and came from above him, getting within 80 yds before he saw me. His curiosity closed the distance to 40.

At almost the same time my buddy found this one in a big field with round bales. Every time he could get a bale between him and the goat he would run up to it. Bale hopping, he got within 50 yds and closed the deal. Good thing there was a lot of hay this year and bales were close together. It took about 4-5 hundred yards dashes to get within range.

Mine should be in low to mid 70's and my friends is in the upper 70's. Will update when we know for reference. Saw tons of mature bucks this year, but the wet summer made spot n stalk the only game in town. First s n s goat for me and first goat ever for my friend.

Edit:. Boy I was way off! Mine was 13 1/4" horns 66 7/8. The other was 14" and 71 7/8". But I think p&y should give you spot n stalk credit,. 1/8" per Mile walked, or a half inch for each blown stalk.😁

There seems to be an issue with your pictures, and I really want to see them!

Didn't have camera. Went out with someone to show me the north end of the base. One our down, had first of my two Type 8, antelope doe tags filled using #300 carbon arrow and muzzy 100 grain broadhead. Maybe 25 yard shot. I was laying down in the weeds and my buddy was about 100 yards behind me. She about walked right up to where I was.

My two best, one is from Cali the other Wyoming. All the wall bucks are Wyoming save for the one Cali buck. Headed back to Wyoming this year, not trophy type unit this year, but always a good time.
