Took this buck mid morning opening day. Glassed him up feeding all by himself, and wondered how many other hunters passed him up without realizing it... He's my best buck to date.

Not the best picture or the biggest pronghorn, but what matters most is clear... my son and I hunting!!!

2016 season was good with two does and a neat looking buck, he doesn't measure that great but I didn't have a vertical buck yet and he gave me a very good shot, he is right at 14" with 7" bases and 4 1/2" prongs. All three were shot in walk in areas here in Wyoming.

Man this is an awesome thread. I love all of the pictures of the antelope and especially ones showing hunters out there with their kids having a great time! Antelope are one of the most beautiful game animals in North America if not the world. They make such a classy and spectacular plaque or shoulder mount. Thanks to all!

I closed the deal on a buck this weekend. He's not a 'Booner', but I'm pleased.

Here's the REAL trophy.

I don't think it gets much cooler than this buck. He has tons of character but I think the best part is he was on land that just a few years ago was private land but was purchased by a conservation group and then turned over to public land. Only fuels a person's love for public land. Embarrassed about the mad look, still learning how to take pictures by myself when I leave the tripod behind and balancing the camera on the pack up against sagebrush is no small task.
