Saturday's are starting to feel like movie Groundhog Day: up at 5 am, in the field by 6:30, setup by 7:15, drink coffee, wait for birds, they start flying and the action if fast and furious, get the limit, back home by 10:30, clean birds for a couple of hours. Do some honey do's, grab some crash time, Sunday morning, repeat.

Saturday was a great day for us and all the guys shot really well. 8 guys and 32 birds

Sunday was much colder and windy but that is perfect goosing weather

Birds sat on the water until about 9 am but when they came off, WOW it was fast. First flight of the day was three and they came in on my end of the decoys, They wanted to land in my lap, I tripled on them and thought that my shooting was back in the groove after being in bit of slump, after than I did my Ray Charles shooting technique and struggled on a couple of flocks. Anyway we ened up with 24 for 6 of us.

Now that Basketball has started I will have less time on Saturdays to chase birds but hopefully will find some time during the week.

Happy Hunting

Looks like a great time, maybe a little chilly. I used to do a ton on goose hunting in high school but dont think I have pulled up on one since. Nice job

You know you got it hooked up right when you and your buddy are standing up and the birds are wanting in.
