another swamp freak

I took the canoe trip across the lake, laid a estrus scent trail to my stand. @ 7:30 am i saw him chasing to my rifht back towards the canoe, I grabed the grunt tube gave a couple grunts and waited. @ 8am he emerged to my left 50 yards out in the marsh. Stand tall looking for his rival. He started move wirh his nose to the swamp grass and I took a shot at 45 yards. Tried to see blood but he piled up so quick in 30. This guy had at one time reached a point magnificent stature with 28 give or take a couple and was on the down side. After 4 years i am so happy to have finally taken him. 14 points 16.5" spread. True swamp donkey.

No just a genetic flaw in the gene pool. The buck i shot the weekend before ia from his line. I don't think i can eliminate his Gene from the bucks in the area but these two will help.
