Another SD Whitetail

Well i took a break from the archery hunting and picked up the old rifle to do some west river hunting. My son and I have been hunting the past couple of weeks and finally had some luck last friday. We decided to take the day off and go hunting before the weather moved in here and it payed off for us we spotted this good whitetail about 1500 yrds out and we were able to make a really good stalk on him the wind was perfect and I belly crawled through some cactus and was able to make a nice 250yrd shot on him as he was beded with a doe. It was all smiles and high fives with my boy who is only on his second yr hunting and is enjoying it everybit. We are still hunting for good buck for him and he has mind set on a 4 point or better, so we are still looking. I will keep you guys updated if get something.
