Just getting things unpacked from my elk hunt. The hunt was quite difficult, but somehow I managed to arrow another bull. Even better two days before I was able to help my buddy get his first archery bull in 7 years of chasing them. I've learned a lot about elk hunting from this guy, so it was my main priority that he get a bull. After he got his bull, we switched caller/shooter and I was lucky enough to sneak an arrow through a small window on this 6X5 and he only went 40 yards after the shot. I'm still on cloud 9. Here's some pictures, but I'll post a video in the future that really tells the story.

Maryland to Idaho ....... that's quite the trek, but looking at those two bulls I'd say it was well worth it. Congratulations!
My buddy is from Idaho. I flew out from MD. Managed to somehow get most of the meat back to MD yesterday (I did donate the front shoulder to a shelter).
