Doing a remodel at an old house in Denver and found this newspaper being used as insulation in the wall. It’s from 1942, has lots of clips about WWII. I can’t believe in how good of shape it is in.

Really neat. When we removed carpet in my parents house c. 1901, they used need papers for padding. There was all sorts of papers from MT. Need back then was so much different. It was like highschool gossip.

Wow, this is so magnificent! Bataan already happened, but news wasn’t yet out. Almost a year after this until Kasserine. You see that Spanish American war vet claiming global war is good? Curious the news couldn’t find a WW1 vet to say that.
