moosie, i beat the old lady last year.. but not by much. Her daughter took 1st for the women and beat me by a half hour. My only goal is to finish faster than my best time... that - and to humiliate Lely. It's a given that girls are going to beat me. The old lady is 65 and is signed up this year.. she's actually pretty amazing.

Lely lives in Great Falls now.. but he'll be here this weekend for the next time.

The guy in most of those pictures is who I've been elk hunting with the last 3-4 years.

Doesn't that guy jsut pack "out" your elk ? Or does he hunt too ? I thought you had just a Packer friend ?

No that guy hunts, with a bow only, recurve. He's never packed any meat out for me. We have packed a lot of beer into the mtns however.
