Kinda hunkered down here with lots of snow and below zero weather so I’m a couple episodes in. Down to 6 contestants after 3 days. Doesn’t appear to be much for resources or gear provided. Mostly mud and rain. Looks pretty miserable honestly.

I watched the series and am a little disappointed in the end. I won’t spoil it but will be interested to see if you feel the same as I did.

Except the guy that lived in the rock house and killed a muskox. That joker was in it for the long haul.

Yea, but he was also gradually breaking down physically.
Probably couldn't have made it 3-4 more weeks.

Kind of feel like Alone: Australia is a misnomer since this season was shot in NZ. Go all in and make it really "Australia"-- stick those folks on a sandbar next to the Victoria River and see how they do with 3000lb saltwater crocodiles.

They always film in areas with little food. There are places where a person could live indefinitely from what they could hunt and gather. Makes for a better show to starve everyone I guess.
