Almost done with my son's first truck

He will enjoy that 93 4wd those ole Chevys last a very long time and not at all hard to work on either. The dash on that one is great shape they are usually cracked bad and expensive to replace. One of my hunting buddies has a 95 and I got a 91 both with the 5.7l good old 350 chevy. I'd drive it like that a while may not even have to paint it looks like a hunting truck.
We have the 1999 Yukon we bought almost new. It ain't going anywhere. Last of the real 350 engines. Although I do like my 6.0 LS in my pickup.. mtmuley

Said it before I'm so jealous of you guys not having to worry about salt destroying your vehicles. I'd never own anything but a 90's silverado again if I didn't have that issue.

The Yukon has been a great rig. Hauled dogs and kids all over. Still hauls dogs but mostly sits in the garage. It is in excellent condition. Gonna keep it forever. mtmuley

I hear car shop coming back into high schools, I hope so.

I grew up like most drive it fix it. I bet a lot of us did short blocks in driveway with nothing but ratchets and wrenches. At 3/4 Century old, L2-L5 back fusion last year, no way I am getting onto a creeper. Now it's pay. 🙁

Wire harnesses are such a joy, I used masking tape and labeled every wire tested and confirmed. Looks like hell but better than memory. I had harness short out, my own wiring magic. Yes, you do have to use fuses and or breaker at times. Who would guess! It was 64 Sport Fury Convertible with 361 Commander unbadged from factory. Damm wish I had it today. Seafoam green.

That's the kind of memories I hope this newer generation can make
