Alaska Success!

Super! Having gotten to live in SW MT and now AK, having a wife that will hunt in that kind of country. Yeah, you've got the life planning thing down! :D Congrats!

Congrats! Any close up pics of the ram? He looks kind of beefy.

Not really anything all that close. He was a beefy ram but I think he looks a bit larger when laying next to my wife. She's pretty petite (5'-100lbs). Here's another shot with me sitting next to him. He certainly wasn't easy to get positioned for photos or butchering.

Looks like a good time. My hunting buddy and his wife just made the move up to Alaska as well.

Congrats to the Mrs. and you! We just returned from that area today. My goal was to spot some dall sheep at some point on our trip. Finally found some on the last day, then they seemed to jump out of the mountains. It just took a while to learn where to look I guess. I know I couldn't keep up with your wife! Congrats again!

Congrats to an inspiring couple. Nicely done, by both partners!

PS: It is so refreshing to read a thread where the big game species is accurately identified ... not merely erroneously described as a "toad".

Envious.....I've been fortunate to hunt sheep several times but the day I get to watch my wife harvest her first ram will probably top them all.
