This will end up in court if I had to guess.
When will it stop? What's stopping them from closing hunting of ungulates?
The all out war on predators in AK is a bit exteme, however EVERYONE including non-residents benifit from the practice. All guys that hunt the 40 Mile country l, hunt in intensely manages areas. No wonder the moose and bou hunting is good . Many other popular areas of the state are also managed similarly.
Also land managed by USFWS in the upper northwest was recently closed to caribou hunting for all non locals. US Federal management at its finest.
