I picked up some Aguila .22 ammo based on the advertised speed of 1700fps with a 30 gr. bullet. I tried them out in an old Glenfield model 20 and a Nikon fixed 4x scope. I have it zeroed for CCI mini mags at 75yds. It's a very accurate combo for ground squirrels. I took 10-15 kill shots at 50-100 with the new Aguila and it is wicked deadly. I took a long shot at a standing squirrel and dropped it clean. I paced it out to check the distance at 162 paces. I'm very accurate at pacing things out. My step distance comes to 3' . It was a clean head shot at 162 yds. My buddy says " I bet you can't duplicate it" . I dropped a couple more in the 150 yd. range no problem. The ammo is fantastic. It makes you a better shooter than you would think for an old .22 Glenfield.
