Congrats on a fun hunt!

Some of my most miserable times deer hunting have been deer drags. The memories of those drags are the ones we laugh the hardest while recalling now. I don't drag deer anymore and, though I don't miss the act, I do sometimes regret that there are no new stories to be told.

Great job and great story telling! Sounds like you had a fantastic hunt.

This year I threw in my small otter sled I use ice fishing. I’m glad I did we had about 6-8 inches of snow the first day of rifle season and I had two drags nearly half a mile on day 2. The sled worked slick (pun intended), but it would have been nice to have a little more length to keep the nose up in the deeper snow.
