A Picture Perfect Year

As the hunting season dwindles down for the most of us, I think it is about time to kick off that picture contest again. Sure, there might be some of those predator guys out plinking away, or bird hunters doing their thing, but I'd venture to say the year is about over. I've seen some great pics this year. I've seen some funny & bizaar pics, and I've seen some down right nasty and disgusting pics.

Whose it gonna be this year? When are you gonna kick this contest off Moosie? Before you know it we'll be snapping off pics of dead animals in '04.

That sounds like a good idea Ovis. I'll have to figure out how to post a picture without messing it up first, then I'll put some pics of the elk hunt up.

Ovis, What are you talkin' about! The huntin's just starting to get good! We have some tracking snow, everybody else is sitting home by the fire and hardly anybody is out there interfering with my fun!

I've still got two deer and an elk to kill. I'll get around to it one of these days.

Ovis, From now on it's birds and lions. Get into the winter range around Anderson Dam where the lions have followed the deer to and it's not hard to find fresh tracks. I don't hunt them around there, but some hunters do. You have a better chance of seeing one you're tracking down in the Owyhees. The terrain is better suited for it. When there's snow around Big and Little Jack's Creek it's not too hard to find a track.

WE still have a month of Muzzleloader, then winter bow until Jan 31. Then varmints till Feb. 16th. Gives me a month to get the boats ready.
