My AR hates any bullet lighter than 68gr. I have found a powder and a bullet (hornady bthp match) that are working quite well together so far, giving me slightly better than 1 moa at 100. My goal has been to find a load that could be reliable out to 300 yards, assuming perfect conditions, i.e. no wind.

Would you trust this to hunt yotes? I have no idea if I would get any expansion with this bullet. I'd hate to put a quarter inch hole in an animal and have it run a half mile.

All the varmint bullets are two light. Although I guess a lower BC might behave totally differently.

My son killed a deer with a 55gr FMJ target load out of a .223, deer went ten yards and fell over. Perfect shot right on the top of the heart.

Accidentally grabbed the wrong bullets in the dark instead of the hunting rounds. I'm sure your combo will do just fine.

I’m sure your match bullets will be fine. Most varmint bullets are thin jacketed. In fact many people like them not to pass through to preserve the pelt.

Will be hit or miss on how they perform. Some will expand and some will pencil through. I’d be loading some 69 grain TMK, 73 grain eldm, or 77 TMK. Though none are going to be fur friendly

Probably fragged if it was close...
