60 Day Archery Countdown

Crunch time has arrived. As of today July 5, we are 60 days (and 3hrs as of writing this) from the MT Archery Elk and Deer Opener.

Today I got broadheads put on a couple arrows for target shooting...discovered my broadhead target is not stopping arrows within 30 yards so I need get another target soon.

I've also started honing broadheads to make sure they're sharp. I likely will not hunt elk seriously this year with a moose tag in my pocket but it never hurts to be ready.

I’ve been shooting every evening that I get a chance for the last few weeks. Shooting a lot form 40 and 50 yards right now.

No archery season this year for me but the season is coming fast. Each year seems to fly by a little faster than the previous one.

Seems like as soon as spring hits the time flies by. It'll be here before we know it.

I gotta make a broadhead switch this year. The brand I've used the last 4 years I think is out of business now. May bite the bullet and get some iron wills.
