49 days...Dall sheep

I think 27 days here. Airline ticket and license finally purchased.

I stopped the Thigh Master a week ago. Letting myself recover from those vigorous workouts. Don't hit that thing to hard T-bone.

If any of you sheep humpers make it up to Fairbanks, be sure to let me know. There's always a cold beer in the fridge for a Hunttalker!!!

21 days.....It can't get here soon enough. Work has been a big pile of crap lately. Take me to my happy place.

2x on that one Tyson...fuggin fires and tie-lines have been a crap shoot out here at best. Smoke fouling the compressors on the turbine units |oo ...at least the market softened a bit at COB whenyou can get the chit down here!

B. Harmon says to tell ya howdy! ;)

Fugg!!! Sprained the hell outta my ankle last weekend on a 11 mile back pack training trip. A week healing and I rolled it again today at the CBA shoot|oo

What is a good ankle brace/maxi pad for my problem?

It's nice to gawk Tyson, but he's not in the same range. Damn he is nice!

Chugach-Talkeetna's. It's all good. Oak will be thinking on that ram forever. What a stud of an animal (the ram, Oak not so much).

I don't think they have that kind of mass where I'm going. However, the place does grow some very respectable ones.

OAk... t-bone will not know what that looks like.. He's not bringing a Spotting Scope. He's relying on Bino's....... Yah, I'm busting yer balls for not bringing optics T'bone :p

There are some darn good sheep in the Talkeetna's. In fact, I've heard rumor of a couple just this year. Any mature ram is a trophy, IMO. It's just fun to dream about the ridiculoulsy big ones.

Mr. Bone,

Sleepless night suck, but you will be in sheep country before you know it.
Savor every minute of it because it goes way too fast.

Oh ya, one more thing. Bring the Kikkoman powder for the ribs!!!!!!!!!!!!

Havn't got to the sleepless nights yet. Been burning the candle at both ends, so when I close the eyes, morning gets here too quick.

Gear is all put together in a box. Just need to pack it up next week.

In addition to the 12 jumping jacks per week, I've been packing 50 pounds of rock salt around a couple times a week, I'll step that up over the next 10 days. I'm starting to think the trip will actually happen.

14 days is almost palpable.

i just broke my leg....

kiddin', although it did snow in the mountains yesterday, above 4000 feet got a couple inches of snow, been cold here, todays nice but it looks like todays the only one for a while that'll have sun in it...

I heard it hadn't been over 70 in Los Anchorage all summer. And there was a fresh coat of snow on the Chugach.

Spent half the day on my dads roof pulling shingles, I guess the steepness counts for something.

Hoping for decent weather, not weather like August 2006. If we get bad weather I will complain to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game.

Our two highs this year have been 65 and 67. I think we've had a total of 10 days at or above 60. Good news is deer hunting starts next Friday....
