410 TSS

If one of you guys was really desperate, I could probably part with a .410 double for ya... :) :)
The late Kenny Morgan famously killed truckloads with a .410 double. This was all long before TSS and specialty turkey chokes. He was having problems with his shooting. He put the 12ga away and used the .410 to keep himself in line. He used the Winchester 3/4oz #7 1/2 load. After some years, he went back to a 12ga because the .410 was stolen.

The part of the story that isn't as widely told is that he would put a small cork stopper between the double triggers. The wider pattern of both barrels together was harder to miss with. I have one of the small corks he supposedly used. It came with one of his turkey calls. I'm not sure I believe anyone stalked the turkey woods with one in place.

As in Winchester 42? Have you seen what TSS does to bore and chokes?

I did some homework on that before ever pulling the trigger. The 42 is a 1959 model and the TSS loads I'm using are 13/16 #9s and have a full-length wad that will protect the barrel, also the factory "full choke" on this barrel is not as constricted a a regular full choke would be. I'm not too concerned.
