.338-06 Build Completed

I saw those posted the other day - curious to see if they end up making a tipped 240-250 gr. I'd probably load them in my 338 RUM. The 267 shot great out of my rifle.

I don't have a 338-06, but it was on my list for a while. It'll thump game for sure!
Man, that 210 is so tempting for my 338-06, but it simultaneously makes me want to sell it and build a 338-300wsm. I hope the .488 G1 that .250 G7 converts to on the 210is correct. The .611 G1 its on the 225 Etip that I've been shooting makes for a really effective load.

Hammer lists a 220 HHT as well - might be worth trying!

Thanks Doug. I'm not opposed to the 185s but I just happened to get my hands on the 210s first.
If you are hunting elk I would stick with the 210’s but for mule or whitetail deer the 185’s may flatten your trajectory.

Try them and report back because I’ve been itching for a 338 RPM just to use those. Your experience may be the deciding factor 🫡
If anything like the HHTs in other cartridges I've loaded, they'll be fast and stupid accurate. Hoping that Hodgdon will bring in a shipment of H4895 this spring. If not, I'll load them over a health shot of Varget.
