That doesn’t do much for me. Honestly, it’ll probably live in my pack when it happens. I hate trying to draw a longer barrel than about 4” out of a holster.![]()

How do you even operate with your pistol in your pack, bro? That doesn’t do much for me. Honestly, it’ll probably live in my pack when it happens. I hate trying to draw a longer barrel than about 4” out of a holster.
Are we still talking about guns here orHow do you even operate with your pistol in your pack, bro?

What's not to love?I love the single six.
5.5” barreled Single Six is near perfection for carrying on your belt or all around fun plinking. I want to find a Bisley Single Six and chop the barrel down to 5.5”.
Pure class...
Yes, but I like stainless. Also having a matching .22 and .44 just feels so right.

DeagleSo here’s the deal. I own several pistols, but am by no means a pistol “guy.” Last spring I won a .22LR can at a banquet, and it should be here soon.
I’m thinking that a small, compact-ish, .22 pistol with a can would be great to throw in my pack with some subsonic ammo for grouse while I’m out elk hunting. Call the budget $500 tops.
Any recommendations?
