'22 AZ Javelina

Taking off tomorrow with my crew to our annual javelina rifle hunt.

Good Luck! Not sure exactly where you are headed but my experience this year is the yellow grass has been taller in some spots making short little pigs harder to spot. I didn't find herds where I typically find them this year, and groups were smaller.

What area do you have? I usually hunt east of Bagdad.

Just returned from AZ. Good times as always but I was not able to fill my tag. High winds during most of the week made hunting conditions not favorable. There were 7 hunters in our camp. Our strategy was to break up into small groups in order to cover more ground. 4 tags were filled out of the 7 in different parts of the unit. Already planning for next year.

Three days in 23 with my daughter and not a single sighting. This was our first time javalina hunting and it was tougher than I expected!
