Thanks, and yes it does! On top of that, seeing NO bulls for several straight days makes you appreciate it when you see just one, let alone so many. I still haven't shot an elk yet or even pulled my own tag yet. So far it's just been me trying to find them for my kids.
When you hear Randy talk about how he has almost as much fun or more helping others find elk, I really do get it. I love being out in the woods seeing wildlife and being with people I love and enjoy.
We saw the elk in scatter/flee mode. We guessed the shot was on the other side of a steep ridge that forced them out from right to left; north/south.
He's in the USCG for four (4) years. He's in year two with the first of three quarters done for A-School.
