2024 New Mexico Draw Results

I'm thinking I wasted a lifetime of NM luck when I drew 16a my first year ever applying and only my second year hunting elk/hunting western states. Man what I wouldn't give to have the knowledge I have now, then!

Have been applying every year for the last 8 years and all red for me...

I have to keep looking out of disbelief as well. The two tags I drew were <1% AND <5% odds last year. I’m not a statistician but I don’t think I’ll ever repeat that!

Lucky me. My son and I drew 2nd archery for elk and my grandson, son and I drew our first choice rifle mule deer.

Same as it ever was. But that’s why I set up my long term plan the way it is. Always reserve one preference based tag/year so I don’t have to depend on luck. This year Utah deer OIL.
