I've not understood why waivers do not clear until the morning AFTER Thursday night football.
It's common in league default seeing though if ffl's depend on Thursday night games, why not, at least, distribute the waivers Thursday morning?

Amazing how powerful a team such as @MinnesotaHunter 's barely squeezed into the playoffs. Had he not kicked me to 7th and lost, not sure if he would be in the playoffs.
Thankfully, for myself, I redeemed my 6th through the last game. We hold the top three points of the league and it was a squeeze to slide into home plate for playoffs.
Really boils down to the order of teams played when viewed through the lense of total points.
Best of luck to you - well, unless you're playing against me. In that case, I hope each of your players receive recoverable bruises that take your players out of the games I play against you.

Two questionable QB's in my arsenal...
Purdy and Nix.
Miami is tight against passing yards and Purdy seems searching. Limited players do not assist his goal though 4 points last game?
Nix, if he didn't throw three ridiculous interceptions last game has a much better field for passing yards against the Chargers.
3 out of 4 reviews say stick with Purdy though this is the usual totality of the season generic assessment. The one review was specific to week 16 and a strong interest in Nix over Purdy.
Thoughts? This thread's been mostly silent this season though figure worth tossing this out.

Styes, I know we are playing against each other, but take this for what it is....
I have Nix in another league and his handle of the offense in Den has helped me win, and hurt me when I sat him. Deebo's sudden disappearance hasn't helped Purdy either.

We have tight points for week 16. It's a coin toss or, as usual, major wr/rb points for a couple players. They either offset each other or one team has both and the win cripples the other by 20+ points.
That said, I'm leaning on Nix though Thursday is the make/break for our game. You're a good sport to toss your thoughts w/o the vibe you're skewing for the win. Haha!
I stay with Purdy, I think it's likely to not replay last week's spectacular terrible points.. though probable 14-16 points. Nix has Sutton and Sutton has been a boomer for Denver.
Think it's a stagnant Purdy or a good boom or bust Nix. Boom would be great considering your premium players, bust and ill need mine to counter.
Down to the wire. Haha!

I have a feeling that is exactly how this will go down!!! I’m hoping for a nail biter! If Purdy manages the game, I could see him easily at a solid 15-20 points which is better than a three or four pick game from Nix (entirely possible). I look forward to the battle beginning!
Should be good. I'm going w/ Nix. Even with his three interceptions last week, he still scored 3x's the points of Purdy. He's not had a game under 15 ffl points. That's a decent bust for the upside boom potential. I think Nix has a better passing opportunity vs Purdy's passing potential.
Great aspect about Nix, he doesn't shy from throwing and ffl QB wise, that makes him... eh, "special". Hopefully special on the upside for my team sake.
