2024 College Football 🏈 Season starts tomorrow…. Yee Yee

Typical Big10 homer wanting to control other conferences.

Funny though, since with that type of definition of true, not even a Big10 team won the Big10 Championship. :D
In a Florida State fan. They’re 15-11 the last two years. And were 13-0 at on point during that. My uncle will tell you how much I hate the big ten, especially Ohio. Take your L. Now that everyone can pay players, SEC has lost its dominance.

I just hope Texas can hang tomorrow. I think Michigan has awakened a beast. I think Ohio (refuse to say state out of the lack of respect) wins the next two games by double figures as well. I could be wrong. I was tonight.

Congrats to the Irish for a hard won win. Who knew ND actually had a QB, would have been nice if Allar would have played championship level football.
Still a good season by all accounts for PSU, better than I ever expected back in September.
Now you get the consolation prize...seeing how many starters leave for more $ elsewhere. Or, you'll have a bunch of "I'm back!" announcements on social media from starters that have no NFL draft eligibility...once their deal gets done. Ask me how I know...

It amazes me when people talk about allar going pro, I think he's a good player but he isn't coming out week after week playing championship football. It will be strange rooting for "The" Ohio State

At least there's a salary cap next year. NIL is what it is these days. I think it's already been pretty much set on who's going to the draft from PSU this year.
One upside at least with NIL is there's an insentive to get the stars to play in bowl games instead of sitting out knowing they're going in the draft.

Only the national championship bowl games. In the Dukes Mayo bowl--not so much. Entire starting defensive backfield didn't play for one time, 3 of the O line starters on the other as well. Combination of transfer portal and NFL worries about injury.

So..not sure NIL acceptance requires playing in bowl games.

He's still a good prospect IMO but needs another year. Leonard is a determined tough kid I'd have no problem picking in the low rounds if I were looking for a developmental kid.

It does if a school puts a penalty in the NIL contract for not playing.

Haven't the schools become the NIL brokers?
No, schools still can't pay players. I've seen more and more coaches donate to the NIL collective of their universities. Hell, Shedeur Sanders said that Travis Hunter was the #1 donor to the Colorado NIL.

A contract is still a contract, whoever is paying can write them with carrots for achievements, and finally have a stick written in for when a player sits a bowl game.
