2024 College Football 🏈 Season starts tomorrow…. Yee Yee

The SEC isnt the best conference this year. Top to bottom. Thats the truth.

That's just your and the Big10 version of the truth. As noted, Big10 teams didn't even bother to play each other to make sure they made it in the playoff. :D.

The supposed #1 for all year couldn't even win at a neutral field. Not only didn't they not win, that got beat as bad as Tennessee when Ohio State was given home field advantage. Tennessee was #3 in the SEC.

I would say, we don't know who the best conference is, and it doesn't even matter any more. We have a 12 playoff. They can settle it on the field for the next few years.

It sure isn't the Big10 unless you are a Big10 homer.

SEC guys can't let it go. Funny. mtmuley
I don't remember anyone in the thread saying how great the SEC was. We did have Big10 homers say SEC were average. Who isn't letting it go? :D

You guys even had to stack the deck to have a chance by running the CFP Committee. ;) Not a confidant move by a dominant conference. :D

Osu is favored 5.5 on a neutral field. PSU and ND would also be favored vs them.

Tenn, georgia, and texass are the best teams in the SEC and without a miracle from the refs in the asu game (no targeting call) theyd have all been eliminated the first game.

Ohio State was favored against Michigan, too. Favored only means something if you are betting.

If the Big10 committee had placed the teams reasonably, none of the teams would have played who they played. But, at least it's better than 4 teams.

Texas had the easiest way to the semis.... at the very least the same as PSU.

Osu had a gauntlet with oregon and tenn (if you believe they are good).

It's too early to declare the Big10 the best.

Sure, they stacked the deck with 4 teams by running the CFP committee and gave Ohio State home field advantage. As it turned out, Tennessee played without the SEC Offensive Player of the year and one of their best receivers, so it probably didn't matter that they were "given" home field advantage. The truth is only one of the Big10 teams played more than one of the better Big10 teams during the regular season, and that was Ohio State.

Oregon won by 1 at home with a few weird things happening. Indiana lost to Ohio State at Ohio State, and Penn State lost to Ohio State at home. Then, Penn State lost to Oregon for the Big10 Championship.

Let's see how Big10 teams would do without their QB. Georgia gave that game away to Notre Dame, and Notre Dame could barely take it.

It's ok. This year was always an experiment, but to be clear, the experiment isn't over yet.

If you post this same thing 10 more times (in addition to the dozen before) it will come true.

Only 9 more to go ;)

Semi, yeah, but then their next game was Oregon, Ohio State, or Tennessee. That half of the bracket was way out of balance, but again, still better than 4 teams.

Ohio seems to be great, but can lay an egg if given the chance. The only one that doesn't seem to have the best chance at winning it all is Texas, IMO. Any of the other three might take it.

I probably just guaranteed that Texas takes it all. My luck.
