2024 College Football šŸˆ Season starts tomorrowā€¦. Yee Yee

How much will Ducks lose by?
The Ducks are coming back but will still end up losing by 8

On another question, will anyone slow down Ohio State over the next two games. Cheating to say they lose players from injury. :D
Penn ST? I like them to have a shot to win it this year and doubling down after the way the defense played against Boise st

That 8 at the end of the half was big. Itā€™s a long shot, but itā€™s not over.
Back in 2015 I saw Oregon blow a 31 to nothing halftime lead against TCU in the Alamo bowl I think, when Oregon starting quarterback went down right before the half and couldnā€™t do anything in the second half with the back up so mathematically Iā€™ve seen it happen but odds are slim

I like your optimism. I don't think anybody stands up to that offense the way they played 1st half against Tennessee and the ducks tonight.
I'm just glad PSU held them as close as they did in November.

I'm hopeful that someone will slow Ohio State down. It could happen. They still have two games left to play.

Disappointing end to an amazing season, but when youā€™re in the playoffs, themā€™s the brakes.

The Big Ten championship will always be a bright spot because championships on any level are hard to win, so that will be a special memory.

Oregon streak of three straight Rose Bowl victories comes to an end today, this will also be the first time Chip KELLY has been victorious since coming back from the NFL when facing an Oregon team

I think Dan Landing is the right coach and this should definitely burn deep and hard with the coaching staff going into next year. Theyā€™ve got great players coming in the backing financially from the boosters is on point , time to start at the bottom of the mountain and climbing back up again and see where this ends next year. Oregon has a super favorable schedule. They donā€™t play Ohio State and they donā€™t play Michigan in 2025 and their toughest game is on the road at Penn State. Expect Oregon to be right there in the 10-12 win regular season

If Notre Dame beats Georgia tomorrow, then all four teams that had a bye will have been knocked out in there first game , will be interesting to see going forward if and how they tweak and change the playoff format so thereā€™s not as much time off for the teams that supposedly earned a better seeding

Ohio State had almost the exact same amount of time off before their game against Tennessee as Oregon did for the game today.

Maybe it would make sense to shorten the season and/or move the playoffs up a week. Not sure. However, the NCAA probably doesnā€™t want to disrupt finals week too much for these student athletesšŸ˜‰

Big10 was over rated. Oregon was #1 for almost the entire season. Seriously though, Ohio State is very good.

Let's see how tomorrow goes, and then the next set of games goes.

They have to live with the ranking and drop the stupid ā€œmediocre conference winner gets a byeā€. Texas and PSU should have been bye teams.

I agree the lag is too much too. I think they should go top 16, no byes, seeding by rank. Then the best teams would all get on campus home games - and do the same thing for second round. Only semis and finals would be neutral ā€œbowl siteā€.

Yet, the 60+ schools in FCS, D2 and D3 playoffs.

None of this has anything to do with academics - it is entirely administrations that like bowls as a place to pander alumni for donations even when their team is 6-7.

Being a Big12 supporter, I tend to dislike BIG teams. Which makes it hard for me to still like Will Howard, former KState qb/current OSU pretty boy quarterback.

Go Buckeyes !?!?

Ohio State? Penn State? Even Mich. B10 was clearly as good or better than SEC this year.
Iā€™m not sure how you can say better. Ohio St beat TN 42-17 at home without the SEC player of the year and a top receiver. They beat #1 Oregon 41-21 at a neutral site. Fwiw, Vols werenā€™t the top SEC team.

Keep pretending though.

Letā€™s see how the rest of the playoffs go.

If you are suggesting Tenn is better than Ohio State right now, then you are in a definitely out on a limb.
