2024 College Football 🏈 Season starts tomorrow…. Yee Yee

The Jay hawks have been showing up in some pretty big games. Gotta give coach prime his due for what he's doing at Colorado, but I do love seeing him lose.
PSU/Gopher game was painful to watch, but the lions escaped with the W. Was like a whole different team from last week.

Typical of PSU, but they happened to win. Franklin is ok, but imo if PSU gets to next level it is without Franklin imo.

PSU will have no shortage of things to work on this week at practice. Good Lord!

I'm no Franklin fan boy, but I feel like he's building the right culture. Personal responsibility, play 1-0 every week, he follows up with every players professors to make sure they are staying on track. Yeah, his play calls and game management in big games have been an issue, but I think it's improving and I see improvements in the program.
Tough to be a top dog in a conference with other teams balling $20+ million in NIL, but PSU has still been playing .700 football year in, year out. I'm not in the fire Franklin crowd, yeah it's tough to see the L's to Mich and OSU year after year but I'm content watching the wins and accept the L's in a very tough conference. My .02

PSU doesn't have any reason to complain about money. Better to be lucky than good, I guess, but they were pretty lucky today.

I think for them to be a true contender, they need to win the big games(OSU & Mich), Franklin seems to fall short when it comes to the most important games.

All I will say is, there are a lot of programs out there who would love to be 10-1 right now looking at a playoff berth. I consider that a pretty good season.

Crazy Saturday. I feel that next weekend has the potential to be Deja vu all over again. And UGA plays on a Friday night… weird

It seems the more likely craziness is Texas A&M vs Texas at College Station, UW vs Oregon both off bye weeks, USC vs ND at USC, and Michigan vs Ohio State. There might be others.

Vols are doing a bit better with their passing game, or I'd include Vols vs Vandy.

I wouldn’t worry too much about ATM beating UTw right now, but stranger things have definitely happened. I like Elko, seems like an old school, tough nosed, down to earth college football coach. I just don’t see his team pulling this one out.

UTe is playing better, and Vandy’s qb is banged up too. But they have played giant slayer more than once this season, and I can dream.

Don’t overlook GT @ UGA. The pesky gnats have played well this season and gotten better throughout. The Dawgs have definitely shown inconsistency at best, and major flaws at worst

Auburn/Aggies game was worth staying up to watch. Is there going to be a 3 loss SEC team in the playoffs?
Of course there will be. The playoff and ranking committee's cant get off the SECs nuts. Just look at Alabama, who has 2 losses to terrible teams and the AP still has them at 12 or 13. They should be ranked around 17 or 18 but will somehow make the playoffs. Boise st and Ohio st have the equivalent of the same loss, but a different strength of schedule so I see a difference there. Miami/ND have a bad loss and are top 8, well above BSU. I feel BSU will get the shaft if ASU runs the table for the bye.

A&M lookin ahead to this Saturday at Kyle Field. I'm thinking Texas will have their hands full.
Late November road games gets a few teams every year , home teams fighting for a bowl berth … etc

Oregon almost got clipped in camp Randall , A&M goes down , Ole Miss …
Colorado … all on the road
