2024 College Football 🏈 Season starts tomorrow…. Yee Yee

What was weird about the Oregon game was basically watching two Big 12 QBs duel it out. Our kids live in Manhattan, and we were always fans of KState in the Bill Snyder days; classiest coach in decades.

Odd rooting against Will Howard.

I always thought Snyder was a great coach. I’m feeling very fortunate Gabriel is a Duck 🦆 cant believe Oklahoma let him walk , but Dillon is an Islander and grew up Idolizing Marcus Mariota, and wore Duck gear as a kid. Now he wears Marcus’s old #8 , but Oregon has always had great players from the Islands for the 30 years I’ve followed them because it’s a short flight from the Islands

My old Marcus shirt from a decade ago now works for Dillion

Cool short video about the island connection

Huskers had nothing
I felt Indiana was gonna win , they’ve been playing great , but boot stomping the Huskers was impressive, Ohio St is gonna have there hands full in a few weeks.

Indiana has gone from a feel good story of the 1st half of the season to a legit B1G 10 title contender. They have been blowing everyone out by 21 points a game , unlike Miami which is barley winning each week in high scoring shootouts

The homestretch to the playoffs is gonna be interesting

Texas / Georgia is gonna tell a lot in a few hours as well

Seems Cignetti knows how to build a winning program. I thought it was pretty impressive when his James Madison squad made jump to FBS and were able to be ranked at one point in their first season.

How bout them Fighting Illini, great to see some underdogs in the big10 with some big seasons. Illinois, Indiana and Rutgers all solid programs this year.
