2024 Bear Video

Little long but thought you guys might enjoy the video of the bear I took in B.C. a couple weeks ago.

Waited as long as I could for this big guy to give me a broadside shot but at 12 yards I decided he was as close as i was gonna let him get. He didn't make it far and is for sure my best bear... gun or bow. At 6'7 squared with a 19 7/8" skull he was a tough one to pass on....even if it was the first day.

At the start of your video, I thought to myself, that bear doesn’t look that big. Then I saw the second bear waddling out of the woods, and I thought, yes sir, that’s a big boy.

I was surprised as well.... I think he just wasn't paying attention. I was worried that because I was wearing black that he might have confused me for his girlfriend. There is more to worry about in that kind of bear attack than just teeth and claws.

Black or really old dark camo is my go to for moose. When those bulls come in grunting less then ten yards away I have the same fear lol
