I think the final two weeks of trials and tribulations Greenhorn endured after his ultra marathon sheep scout/hunt sealed the deal in his deserving of the prestigious honor.
Class act..so long as you don't look the sheep in the eye.

I personally just like to revisit the good threads and have a little fun with the members here. It seems like once prizes get involved, it ceases to just be fun for fun’s sake.

I suspect one of the things those of us who hang out here have in common is that we love a good hunting story. Especially with great pictures for visual aids. The laughs, the struggles, the highs, the lows bring us all together and let us live vicariously some hunts we may otherwise never get a chance to experience at all. 2021 was the best I can remember for storytellers. I submit the following stories posted in 2021 for your consideration.

There were many an excellent story, but @antlerradar and @Greenhorn gave us two threads and two stories that were once in a decade (or more quality), unique in there own ways, I couldn't pick between them.

There sure is some tough competition in those threads. All great stories and I suppose I'm gonna read them again each and every one now that it's winter. What an epic year for some of the HT crew.
