2021 NM draw results out.....all red for me. Only know of one person that drew anything and that is for a cow tag in north-central NM. Apparently the number of applications broke all time records. Sucks I didn't even draw deer (first choice odds were 74%).

My god, what just happened!? My wife drew a Ram Bighorn Sheep tag as a non-resident unguided. The only tag allocated. HOLY CRAP!

Archery Aoudad/Barbary in January. A healthy challenge awaits! Rifle hunted them once and was hooked. Super cool critters and HARD to sneak up on. Rifle was no cakewalk so looking forward to bowhunting them.

Not quite as glorious as an elk tag, but I was able to draw my Mule Deer Archer tag for unit 23! Pretty excited about that! Pretty convenient for a non resident to get a 6 month job with the US Fish and Wildlife service in the same area! Fortunate to be able to scout and work at the same time.

3rd choice FAMD muzzle loader in unit 24 over Halloween! Also got me one of those super limited Javelina tags for February!

This will be the first year I go into a unit a second time. Now I have to learn how my muzzle loader works.
