Leupold BX-4 Rangefinding Binoculars

2020 trail cam pics, lets see em

My first trail cam pics of my entire life. I put just one cam up about a week ago to see what I could learn about which animals are where, and also about how best to mount cams. Things I learned:

- Elk are (generally speaking) at high elevations. Deer might be lower in the valleys
- Predation is a thing... wolves/coyotes abound in this area... going to have to factor that in to where I'm looking for deer
- Mounting cams up high is DEFINITELY a deterrent to theft... had two hoomans cruise by and never even notice my cam

First buck worth looking at this year. Has good potential if he continues normal growth.

I've been catching only one pic, once a year, in summer, of a really nice buck from this same spot. 3 years in a row so far. He didn't show up yet this year. This one ain't him, but I'd like a chance at this guy.

The yote seems like a really dark critter.7-7-1613.JPG7-12 0650.JPG
