We got some divers on Saturday. Strong northwest winds had the birds moving all morning, just as many flying around at 11 than right at hours. White caps on a lake that is not particularly large. Only puddle ducks we saw were one group of woodies that would not commit to decoys. Probably should have had some more, but we showed off some poor shooting. This morning was pretty slow, only species we saw were ringnecks and hooded mergansers. Probably could have had more shooting, but we kept holding out for them to commit to the decoys, which most did not. Managed 3 ringers.
Saturday morning haul: divers plus some hooded mergs for the sausage pile
